Our History


Lagos State Cooperative College is an institution established and Commissioned by the Lagos State Government on 12 July, 2012 and the bill passed into law in 2018.

Created primarily to provide specialized cooperative education and training for the sustenance and growth of cooperative businesses.

The College kicked off academic activities with Course LSCC 01, Essential skills in Cooperative Management, which had in attendance 25 (twenty five) participants from various Cooperative and took place on 15th – 19th October, 2012.

At present, we offer three academic programmes:

  1. Professional Diploma in Cooperative Management
  2. National Diploma(ND) in Cooperative Economics & Management.
  3. National Diploma(ND) in Micro Finance & Enterprise Development.

We also run periodic short- term and intermediate courses for newly registered cooperatives and existing ones, tailored to emerging trends in cooperatives for greater work productivity.
